Description
Very brief unfinished visual novel for My First Game Jam Summer 2021. You play as a thief searching for something that can make you rich, but you might end up finding a friend instead! Or you could avoid friendship and just steal stuff if that's what you like. The theme of the jam was "free", and the game is about a girl who has been trapped in her room for a few thousand years. In the finished game, you will be able to free her if you make the right choices.
Gameplay is only about 10 minutes, since I used my time to learn Ren'py, write a script, design and draw sprites for two characters. So far you can only achieve 1 ending, though there are at least 3 planned.
(You may have to turn up the volume in the options menu. I set it to mute and forgot about it.)

Extract the zip, navigate to the icon that says "Lost Stars" and "application.

The art is very pretty and your use of the music was fitting (even if the transitions weren't perfectly smooth, it's normal, it's a demo). The story was quite interesting and the end makes you want to know more about Gem.
Overall, very cute game, I hope you'll continue the story :)
